WOW! I have been using breadmakers for 15 years, and this one is a quantum leap in consistant results. After the the last stir down, removing the stirring paddles is a breeze. The posts are not nonstick, so if you choose to remove the paddles you will need to turn the posts from the bottom with pliers (only because they are extremely HOT) to release the loaf; one full turn will do. It is worth the effort to keep from having large voids left behind by the stirring paddles. Also having a rectangular loaf is a pleasure long overdue from breadmakers. I highly recommend using the Shaker wooden slicing guide instead of the plastic. With the wood you control the width of the slices.
