Product Features

Product Description
ScoopFree is the self-cleaning litter box you can leave alone for weeks at a time. It is the only self-cleaning litter box that uses disposable litter trays to provide hands-off convenience and unbeatable odor control. You don’t have to see, touch, or smell messy waste. Simply load ScoopFree with the disposable litter tray pre-filled with Fresh Step® Crystals. When your cat uses the litter box, the crystals immediately absorb moisture and odor and begin to dehydrate solids. Twenty minutes later, ScoopFree’s rake automatically sweeps the waste into a covered compartment, leaving the litter smelling clean and fresh. Simply replace the disposable tray every few weeks, and the litter box is just like new. And ScoopFree is so reliable it comes with a 90-day money-back guarantee and one-year limited product warranty. ScoopFree will even pay for the shipping. ScoopFree Ultra offers three additional features for the ultimate in cat care: Privacy hood gives your cats the privacy they deserve while keeping the litter properly contained. Adjustable rake delay allows you to choose if the automatic rake sweeps waste 5, 10, or 20 minutes after your cats use the litter box. Health counter tracks the frequency of your cats’ litter box usage to help monitor their health.

Reviews ScoopFree® Self-Cleaning Litter Box

I have had it a week and it looks and smells fresh as it did on day one. I have 2 female cats. I have one litter box upstairs and one downstairs. i replaced the upstairs box with this one and left the regular litter box downstairs. Since i first placed the thing on the floor, they both took to it immediately. They were so fascinated with the moving rake that they actually used it again right after it completed the cleaning cycle. They almost never use the downstairs box anymore and almost exclusively use this one. The cardboard box that contains the crystals magically seems to never get wet and, once the rake comes by to make its pass through, the crystals seem dried out by then too. Without being too graphic, one of the cats even had a little diarrhea and the rakes handled it without any mess (so long as it is covered in the crystals). I am probably going to order another one to replace the downstairs box too. I know the price is quite high but the continuous cleaning of this box is just what my cats need. They get fussy about the regular boxes because they are a bit territorial and when one box has the smell of the other cat they'll just go on the floor (which is kind of ridiculous considering i cleaned the boxes every day). But something about this box keeps them coming back and they haven't done anything naughty on the floor since i put it down. I think the expense is definitely worth it to protect my hardwood floors. I could see how it might not be useful for everybody's needs but it's working out great for my cats.
